[New Life+] Young Again in Another World (Japanese: 二度目の人生を異世界で, Hepburn: Nidome no Jinsei o Isekai de ) is a Japanese light novel series written by MINE and illustrated by Kabocha. The series is licensed in English language by J-Novel Guild. A manga accommodation by Satoru Abou was serialized from 2016 to 2021, and an anime tv set serial adaptation by Seven Arcs Pictures was scheduled to premiere in October 2018, before it was cancelled on June vi, 2018. Following the proclamation of the anime adaptation, the series and its author began to face criticism for controversial cloth in the novels and in Twitter posts that MINE had made between 2012 and 2015.

Manga [edit]

A manga adaptation past Satoru Abou is published on Kadokawa Shoten's ComicWalker website.[12] [13] The manga went on hiatus in late May 2018 post-obit the controversy surrounding the writer.[14] It returned from hiatus on August 22, 2018[14] and ended on December 3, 2021.

Anime [edit]

An anime television series adaptation was announced on May 22, 2018, and was scheduled to premiere in October 2018.[25] The series would have been directed by Keitaro Motonaga and written by Takamitsu Kouno, Touko Machida, Koujirou Nakamura, and Chabo Higurashi, with blitheness by Vii Arcs Pictures.[25] Makoto Takahoko would have provided the series' grapheme designs.[25] However, on June 6, 2018, it was announced that the product and broadcast of the anime had been cancelled due to the controversy surrounding the writer and his novels.[26]

Controversy [edit]

Following the announcement of the anime accommodation, the serial and its author became the subject of a controversy. Hobby Nippon, the publisher of the original light novel serial, posted an apology on June vi.[6] Later that twenty-four hours, the Asahi Shimbun reported that the publisher had decided to abolish shipments of the light novel.[half-dozen]

On June 15, 2018, J-Novel Club announced that they would suspend publication of the series on July ane, 2018, and would no longer offering it for auction "awaiting further consultation with the Japanese rights holder".[7]
